Note that the Philippine call center industry total revenue amounted to only US$800 million in 2004 and over a billion dollars in 2005.

  These major players continue to see growth in their core businesses. For instance, Convergys Corp. said it is planning to raise its capacity in the Philippines to 8,000 seats. The Ohio-based company currently has seven call center facilities in the Philippines, six of which are in Metro Manila and one in Cebu. It is set to open its eighth call center in the Philippines by the fourth quarter of 2005, to be located along Ayala Ave. in Makati City. Convergys is a global leader in integrated billing, customer care, employee care and transaction management software and services. Among its long list of clients are government entities and top companies in telecommunications, internet, cable and broadband services, technology, financial services and other industries in more than 40 countries. Major Clients include Cingular, Direct TV, Sprint PCS, IBM, AT&T.

ClientLogic expects to max out its current 2,500 facility capacity and is now looking at putting up another site in southern Philippines in the near future. ClientLogic caters to foreign clients engaged in financial services, technology, telecommunications and travel industries. Its roster of clients includes Sony Corp., DirectTV, TiVo, National Geographic Television and United Online.

TeleTech, with 2,900 seat capacity, will build two new facilities. The first of the two new facilities is located in Cainta, Rizal and will have 1,500 seats. The other office is a 140-seat facility in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
